Born into the prominent Lake family in the 1960's, Spyder began learning the guitar at the age of twelve. Drawn to the classics, he honed his skills by practicing to the albums of Led Zepplin, Scorpions, Ted Nugent, Jimi Hendrix as well as a host of others. The tedius process included picking up the needle on the record player and playing parts over and over until, eventually, wearing out the groves in the vinyl

At the age of seventeen, the opportunity to start playing the local clubs arrose. He jumped on the chance and the thrill of playing in front of an audiencestays with him for the next thirty years.

The first time he walked into a recording studio, he felt like he had found a home. Recording and writing songs put him inot a new league and they would stay with him forever.

Due to a series of unfortunate events, his live playing and recording was stopped short and we are left with the only album he recorded. "A Home Without a Name." He quickly found other alternatives to quench his artistic thrist and Spyderlake Productions was born.

We have now digitized and remixed some of his songs and would like to invite you to listen to the music of Spyder Lake.
